  • New document scanner replaces the old crop screen: point at a receipt and it finds the edges, straightens and crops it automatically — camera and gallery import in one place.
  • Much more accurate invoices. Full-page (A4) invoices are kept the right way up and cropped tight before reading, so the date, total, subtotal and tax (HST/GST/VAT) come through correctly — fixing wrong years and mixed-up totals. Works on existing receipts too: tap Re-parse with AI to re-read them.
  • Works on more phones: devices without Google services fall back to a plain camera + gallery capture (the page is still straightened and cropped on our side).
  • Item include/exclude switches stay consistent between the receipt and review screens, and lock once a receipt is approved.
